Preliminary task analysis

Preliminary Task Analysis:

for our preliminary task we, recorded a video on the camera of different shots and match on action, showing a conversation between 2 people and also detailing a range of shots. also we had to follow the 180 degree rule which meant it was filmed in a 180 degree space. to reduce unawareness of the environment in which it is being filmed. at one point we did not know that main point of the task so we ended up filming random clips of different shots, however this was fixed afterwards.


The main task was to film a conversation between two people, there were several different angles and shots which were used during this filming, the shots were reverse shot, close-up shot and over-the-shoulder shot. this was shot between two people. The lighting also changes between each clip> we had been taught to follow the 180 line rule, and the camera should be filmed from the same angle as these shots.


another problem we had with filming was that we tried to get the words to be exactly the same, to be identical, so we had to rely on quick editing and shorten the length of each clip.
