Man of steel is a 2013 superhero action film produced and directed by Zack Snyder, the main cast include Henry Cavill as the titular protagonist Dc icon superman, Amy Adams as supporting character and love interest Lois lane, Russel crowe as jor-el, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, mild mannered Clark Kent's mother. and Michael Shannon as the Antagonist General Zod, antje traue as faora, and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent(clarks father).  In my opinion the movie is fun to watch and has great action scenes the movie also has great cinematography, and graphics not seen before on previous superman movies, it is state of the art and also has a great background story, starting from how Clark is a baby on the planet krypton all the way to the final epic battle with zod which plenty of damage is done to the city!

Russell crowe as Jor-El clarks wise father before the role was cast two other actors were considered for the role as Clark's Father, Sean Penn and Clive Owen. Faora zod's Sub-commander is very dangerous and completely loyal to Zod her role is played by Antje traue, she has a military background and takes on superman along with zod.

the movie uses several different camera shots and angles cleverly throughout the movie, such as when the bus-crowning scene occurred a mid-shot was used to show and detail the terror on the children s faces, while the flight scenes had used effectively long-range shots to show superman's newly-developed powers. The movie's Budget was $225 million and made a box office total of $668,045,518. Overall it is a great movie to watch and the cast and story line was great.
